Welcome to “Sankar multi-specialty hospital” has been established in 1984, at South Authoor, Thoothukudi district.
Started with only outpatient, then in the year 1986, started renting a building with 3 beds. In 1994, with our dedicated services and hard work, we opened a small nursing home with 10 beds hospital in 30E, Mutharammal Kovil Street, North Authoor 628151.
The hospital was inaugurated on 23rd January 1994 by our father Mr. Veeriaperumal and Prof.Dr. Sivasankaran MS.
Starting with 10 beds, lab and X-ray unit, it has now expanded to 50 beds, supporting the health needs of rural & sub-rural people initially. Now we have grown to a strength of 50 beds.
We are especially noted for our service in emergency cases. Including RTA, head injury, ortho surgery, neurosurgical management and general surgery. Apart from that, we deal with all types of poisoning, cardiac respiratory emergencies.
